Jack Grealish gave a heartwarming shout-out to his sister Hollie as he opened up about their close bond while speaking to a fan.

Hollie lives with cerebral palsy and when the England star received a letter from a young fan who also has the illness he felt compelled to reach out to him.

Eleven-year-old Finlay called Jack his idol in a moving letter where he praised the Manchester City player for the way he looks after his sister.

He wrote: ‘I am a huge Man City fan and England fan. I have cerebral palsy and I saw that your sister has cerebral palsy too.’I love the way you are really good with her, you really get it. You always have her there with you and look really proud, especially when we won the league.’

‘I wish there were more people in the world more like you who treat people with disabilities the same as everyone else.’

A bowled-over Jack read the letter in a video for Premiere League’s Fan Mail and gave some insight into how he looks out for Hollie but also spoke of how she has defied the odds to live a full life.

‘I’m so close with my little sister. Hollie is 19 now, she was born three months premature.

They said that she wouldn’t able to talk, she wouldn’t be able to walk and do a lot of stuff but here we are and she can do everything.’

‘Obviously, I love her so much, yeah I think I’m a good big brother to her!’ he said.

Jack later met with Finlay who was clearly over the moon to meet the star and gave him a big hug as he thanked him for his letter saying that it really touched him.

Tragically Jack and Hollie’s brother Keelan passed away when he was just nine months old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2000.
