A brutal shot to the body from Danielle Collins left Iga Swiatek in distress during her 6-1, 2-6, 4-1 win in the quarterfinal of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Swiatek was caught unaware by Collins’ strong backhand pass in the second set and fell to the ground clutching her stomach. The American showed her fair play by going to Swiatek’s side of the net to see if she was okay.

Collins, who had a medical break at the end of the second set, ultimately gave up at 4-1 in the third set, claiming she was injured.
