This year’s US Open finalist opened proceedings as Fritz led models “out of office” and through a picturesque urban garden at the Palazzo del Senato, which houses the Milan State Archives.

“Being the boss means taking time off to rest. Resting is the ultimate luxury,” Boss creative director Marco Falcioni said of the collection

The top-ranked American wears Boss on and off the tennis court, while also repping brands like Chipotle, Tiffany and Maestro Dobel Tequila who are looking to tap into the sport’s growing presence in the cultural zeitgeist.

“Tennis fashion has become a big thing,” Fritz recently told Town & Country Magazine. “A lot of people like to do tennis looks, and a lot of brands as well have gotten into that.

“It works because it’s stuff that you can wear to play tennis and stuff that you can wear when you’re not playing tennis, so it just works for everything.”

Taylor Fritz served up the opening look as he led models at Boss’ Spring/Summer 2025 show in Milan.

Berrettini also walked the runway on Wednesday, showing off a collection featuring muted colors, relaxed silhouettes, draping suit jackets and utilitarian bags that were left open. The 2021 Wimbledon finalist’s own bag featured a familiar accessory, as Berrettini was among the models carrying a tennis racquet.

For Berrettini, fashion is a pursuit that has become an escape from the daily grind of tennis, as the Italian works his way back to full fitness after struggling with injuries.

“Sometimes just playing, playing, playing is… not boring, but it’s nice to do other stuff and other things,” Berrettini said. “That’s how I see it, and that’s how I go about it.

“With Boss it was always, obviously they have an idea, but I always felt and I had the power of saying, ‘Oh, I like this, I don’t like this.’ I think that’s the beauty of it.”

Both players are Boss global ambassadors, with Fritz joining the German fashion brand this year after departing Nike. He followed in the Italian’s footsteps, after Berrettini made a similar move in 2022.

Berrettini and Fritz recently met at the 2024 US Open, with the American winning 6-3, 7-6 (1), 6-1 in the second round on his way to his first Grand Slam final. Fritz ultimately fell to Berrettini’s countryman Jannik Sinner in straight sets.
