One social media influencer is getting a lot of attention for her outfit at this year’s event, and she showed it off on Saturday.
Paige Spiranac was on theme for the Derby Saturday with a flower-print dress and a traditionally large hat, fitting right in with what the attire has been at the Derby for the better part of the last 150 years.
Spiranac is one of several celebrities at the Kentucky Derby, as names like Jack Harlow, Martha Stewart and Jimmy Fallon are appearing at the big race.
The 2024 edition of the Kentucky Derby is the 150th edition of the famous race, and it’s seated in its traditional spot as the first event in horse racing’s Triple Crown.
The horse that wins Saturday’s race will be on the watchlist for the Preakness and Belmont Stakes later in the year.
If the horse is able to win all three races, they would become the 14th horse in history to win the Triple Crown and the first since Justify won all three races in 2018.
Spiranac seems to be having a good time so far at the Derby, but she could be on hand to witness the first part of history when the main event begins near 7 PM ET.
