Jack Grealish sends nine-word message after Man City beat Wolves 2-1 on Sunday
Jack Grealish came on as a substitute for Manchester City as they defeated Wolves 2-1 on Sunday.
Grealish replaced Savinho, who was tasked to play on the left-wing in the second half.
The Manchester City attacker did not need much, if any time at all to have an impact on proceedings.
Instead, Grealish was direct as he tried to take Nelson Semedo on several times while also emerging as City’s biggest threat upon his arrival.
The Englishman’s crossing and incisive passing meant the Sky Blues instantly looked far likelier to break down Wolves’ low block upon his arrival.
The 29-year-old seemed to look confident upon being brought on to the pitch — coming off the back of his opening goal in England’s latest 3-1 win against Finland.

As a result, Grealish looked like the most dangerous player at Pep Guardiola’s disposal from the minute he stepped onto the pitch.

Savinho was often forced to cross the ball and go down the byline to take on his man.
The former Aston Villa captain, on the other hand was far more unpredictable due to his ability to cut inside, go on his outside and put in a delivery with either foot.
After Manchester City beat Wolves, thanks to goals from Josko Gvardiol and John Stones, Grealish took to Instagram to caption his post: “What a win! Days like this! Johnny, Johnny Stones!”

The three-time Premier League winner was caught celebrating with the likes of Phil Foden, Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Gvardiol.
Gvardiol also reacted to Manchester City’s dramatic triumph against Wolves — as the likes of Grealish, Dias and Ake complimented him on his tremendous goal.
Matheus Nunes also sent a subtle dig at Wolves fans after he was booed upon being brought on to the Molineux Stadium by posting a picture of him cupping his ears after Stones’ winner.
Grealish stats for Man City vs Wolves
Grealish was certainly one of the brightest players for a Manchester City side that seemed to lack many ideas further up the pitch against Wolves.
However, the decorated technician was inventive and fearless — unlike several of his teammates.
The treble-winner will be hoping that his exploits have earned him a start in the Champions League against Sparta Praha in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Here is a statistical breakdown of Grealish’s statistics from his outing against Wolves.
