Both Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa started dating each other in June 2023. However, after that in May 2024, they had a brief split before getting back together shortly after that. Speaking about the short-time split, we heard Badosa claim, “Sometimes you need a break to realize things and manage them better.” However, despite announcing their split we saw the couple struggling a bit to accept this bitter truth. Tsitsipas blamed his work pressure for fuelling his breakup with Badosa. Speaking about their strong bond, Badosa once said, “I just want him to fly but if he falls, he knows I’m going to be there for him.“

During a recent interview with Tages-Anzeiger, Tsitsipas said, “My theory is that distance should actually make a relationship better, not worse. In the distance, love, attention, and intimacy should grow. Even more than when you are together. And there are some moments during the season when we play in the same places or spend the breaks together. The relationship with Paula brings me into balance because she is so different from the one with all the other people on the tour.“
Reflecting on his thoughts about their relationship, Stefanos Tsitsipas said, “It’s stimulating and complicated at the same time. We’re both chasing our dreams. It’s exciting to have a friend who has high ambitions in the same job. That motivates me too.” He said that they understand each other lives pretty well because most of the tennis pros have a fair bit of similarity when it comes to certain personal traits. The Greek star believes Paula Badosa has a lot of similarities with him.

The Spaniard even shared a few glimpses of their recent trip with a caption, “Paris, caffe latte & him.” Tsitsipas is currently taking part in the Paris Masters and Badosa has joined him on this trip to show support towards her boyfriend from the stands.
