To motivate Anna for the upcoming season, her coach, Santi Dimperio, shared a lighthearted video on Instagram, where he challenges her to a rope race. The caption reads: “I couldn’t keep up. Anita won,” complete with several scared-face emojis. Dimperio humorously added, “Though the rope was a bit too tight for my liking.”
Kalinskaya, who was tagged in the video, quickly reshared it on her Instagram story, responding with a playful “the end” and a laughing emoji, celebrating her victory over Santi. Is Sinner truly in the past now?
The coach has been sharing several posts featuring Anna’s training sessions, much to the delight of her fans. One fan commented on a photo of her using an elastic band on the tennis court: “A Russian way of working hard and never giving up, no matter the global challenges all Russians face.”
