Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek have recently developed a more relaxed relationship off the court, delighting fans with a collaborative TikTok video during the 2024 WTA Finals.
In a post-match interview at the Brisbane International, Sabalenka humorously addressed the possibility of future TikTok collaborations with Swiatek.
She remarked, “We decided that we do it once a year… Maybe nobody actually is waiting for our TikTok, to be honest. We feel like it’s going to be more special if we’re going to do it once a year.”
This lighthearted comment reflects their budding friendship, which contrasts with their intense on-court rivalry.
Sabalenka noted that their interactions have become “more chill,” adding, “I have to say she’s a really nice person. It was fun to get to know each other.”
