Katie Boulter has spoken warmly about her fiancé, fellow tennis star Alex de Minaur, describing him as her “support system” after he cheered her on at the Australian Open. The couple, who have been together for nearly five years, have both seen significant improvements in their careers during this time. De Minaur is now a top-10 ATP player, while Boulter is just outside the WTA’s top 20.

Fresh off the announcement of their engagement last month, Boulter faced a tough battle against Rebecca Marino in Melbourne. She won the opening set but lost the second, eventually fighting through to secure a 7-5 victory in the third set. Throughout the match, De Minaur could be seen in the stands, offering his encouragement and living up to his reputation as Boulter’s steadfast supporter.
