Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is reportedly considering a move away from the Premier League champions this summer, with interest from the Saudi Pro League intensifying.

According to Football Insider, the Brazilian shot-stopper is “increasingly likely to quit” the Etihad Stadium ahead of next season. Despite being under contract until 2026, Ederson is said to be weighing a significant offer from Saudi Arabia, which could tempt him into a big-money move.

Ederson has endured an inconsistent season, and although he remains Pep Guardiola’s first-choice goalkeeper, speculation around his future has continued to grow. The report claims City are unlikely to offer the 31-year-old a new deal, making this summer the club’s best chance to recoup a transfer fee.

With Ederson’s form dipping and interest from the Middle East persisting since last summer, all signs point to a potential parting of ways. Guardiola’s side has struggled without Rodri, and with Kevin De Bruyne already set to depart, a major squad overhaul appears to be on the horizon.

The club has already started exploring replacements for Ederson. Backup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, whose deal also runs until 2026, is not expected to automatically take over the No.1 role. Guardiola is reportedly keen on bringing in a new top-tier keeper during the upcoming window.

City spent heavily in January and are expected to do the same this summer as they aim to rebuild a squad that fell out of the Premier League title race before the new year.
