Tennis sweethearts Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter shared a light-hearted moment during a recent interview at the Mutua Madrid Open.

As the Aussie star was speaking with Sky Sports ahead of his match, his fiancée—British No.1 Katie Boulter—snuck up behind the camera, laughing quietly with the crew before stepping into his view.

When de Minaur finally noticed her, he broke into a grin. Boulter cheekily called out, “You’re too good,” drawing smiles all around. The couple then swapped places, with Boulter sitting down for her own interview.

The playful moment was shared on Instagram by the Tennis Channel and the WTA, captioned: “Kate sneaking on Alex’s interview.”

Fans loved the interaction, calling them the “best tennis couple” and a “tennis power couple.”

The couple, who got engaged late last year, have been inseparable both on and off the court. During the Australian Open earlier this year, they were spotted cheering each other on from the stands.

Reflecting on their engagement in a previous post-match interview, de Minaur shared:

“2024 was a special year and it ended in the best possible way… I’m very happy that happened,” he said, before quickly wrapping up the chat to catch Boulter’s match.

Their romance began in 2020, just before the COVID-19 lockdowns. After meeting by chance at a hotel coffee shop early one morning, the pair instantly hit it off. They went public with their relationship in March 2021.

“From that moment, I knew I was in it for the long haul,” Boulter said in a past interview with The Sydney Morning Herald.

Now based in Madrid for the tournament, the engaged duo continue to win hearts on and off the court.
