American tennis star Coco Gauff recently opened up about her faith and personal values, sharing a heartfelt recommendation for those looking to begin their spiritual journey.
In a recent Instagram story, Gauff responded to fan questions about her preferred Bible for studying scripture.
“Got some questions about which Bible I use. Highly recommend this one, especially for those who are newer to studying the Word,” she shared with a photo of the Bible she uses.
Along with her recommendation, Gauff expressed appreciation for the people and places that keep her grounded—especially her family and hometown roots.
“My dad 🥲 is the best,” she wrote, alongside a post showing her admiration for her father.
Speaking during the 2025 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Gauff explained how her upbringing continues to shape her outlook.
“Definitely, my community. I grew up in Delray Beach and have always been involved in community volunteering. I also grew up in the church, so I think when you’re raised like that, staying grounded just comes naturally,” she said.
The 20-year-old also offered a mature perspective on her fast-paced career and the importance of gratitude.
“The biggest thing I learned last year is not to take anything for granted. Time goes by so fast. Hopefully, it doesn’t feel like it in the moment, but I know that 20 years from now, I’ll probably wish I could go back. So I’m just trying to enjoy every bit of it while I can.”
