The fiery Welshman secured his third nightly win of the season, taking down World Champion Luke Littler in the process, and left no doubts about where he ranks himself among the sport’s elite.

Price said confidently:

“Luke is fantastic, Michael [van Gerwen] can be unstoppable, and Luke Humphries is No.1 in the world — but if I play my A game, they don’t beat me. And I think they know that, too.”

Despite acknowledging inconsistency in his form, Price believes he’s performing at a high level and is ready to climb back up the rankings.

“I’m down to No.12 because I missed a lot of events last year. The guys above me are playing everything, and the rankings don’t always reflect that. But I’m doing all I can to catch up.”

Price added that his mental approach has improved:

“I’m staying more positive. Even when someone plays a freak game against me, I know I’m doing the right things. If I turn up and play my best, I make it tough for anyone.”

Eyes on the Playoffs

After defeating Luke Humphries in the final, Price now sets his sights on reaching the Premier League playoffs at London’s O2 Arena next month.

“I just want to be in the top four. Doesn’t matter if I’m first or fourth, I just want to be there. Winning points and £10,000 every week — that’s my focus.”

Despite the pressure, Price feels it brings out his best:

“I think I perform better when there’s something on the line. But ideally, I’d love to be safely qualified at the top with no pressure. Either way, I’ll keep pushing.”

The Iceman also boasts three Pro Tour titles in 2025 and remains confident that a big year lies ahead:

“I think I’m more consistent than most. Others are playing out of their skin against me, but I’ll keep grinding and the wins will come.”
