Aryna Sabalenka didn’t let a tough loss stop her from cruising in style.

After falling short in the Stuttgart final on Monday—losing 4-6, 1-6 to Jelena Ostapenko—the world No. 1 missed out on the champion’s prize: a brand-new Porsche Macan Turbo EV, worth around $105,000.

But instead of sulking, Sabalenka decided to treat herself. And she went big.

“I ordered my car,” Sabalenka said during a Tennis Channel interview at the Madrid Open. “We’re going with the GT3 RS. Purple. Full spec. I’m so tired of losing in finals, so I went for the craziest Porsche there is. It’s going to be fast driving in Miami.”

The 911 GT3 RS, priced around $245,000, is one of Porsche’s most high-performance models—fitting for a player known for her explosive game.

After losing three consecutive Stuttgart finals from 2021 to 2023, Sabalenka joked during this year’s trophy presentation: “I guess this is the only way for me to get one!”

Now, she’s finally behind the wheel—on her own terms.
