Jack Grealish commented on Leon Bailey’s Instagram as the Aston Villa winger enjoys some rest after a long season

Leon Bailey is enjoying some downtime after a gruelling season and has joked with Jack Grealish that he’s trying to emulate the former Aston Villa skipper.
Grealish was leading Manchester City’s celebrations last week after his side secured an historic fourth successive Premier League title and nearly fell off the upper deck of an open-top bus. He took a tumble after appearing to get caught out as the vehicle moved from a stationary position, but teammate Jeremy Doku was nearby to lend a helping hand.
The celebrations around Manchester came a day after City’s FA Cup final defeat to Manchester United, but despite being given more time off by England ahead of EURO 2024, Grealish reportedly cut short his holiday to report to England’s pre-tournament training camp in Darlington.
The Three Lions face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday at St James’ Park in Newcastle before playing Iceland at Wembley on Friday, June 7. Villa duo Ezri Konsa and Ollie Watkins will also be involved ahead of EURO 2024.
Youri Tielemans and John McGinn will also represent their nations at the summer tournament, while Emi Martinez and Douglas Luiz will play for Argentina and Brazil respectively at the Copa America.
Bailey is one of several players who won’t feature for their nations and is instead enjoying some well-earned rest after Villa played over 50 matches last term and managed to claim a fourth-placed finish.
Bailey posted pictures of himself on holiday with the caption: “Cah stop smaddy weh god done bless!” Grealish then replied with a clapping and praising emojis, before Bailey replied to him: “tryna live like you my bro,” with laughing emojis.
