Luke Littler showed he has a sharp eye for horse racing bets as well as darts after finishing the week at the Cheltenham Festival on a winning note.

The teenage world champion is usually known for hitting the bullseye on the oche, but during the famous racing event he appeared just as comfortable celebrating success away from the darts board.

Littler spent time at Cheltenham alongside several familiar faces, including fellow darts stars Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall, as well as TV personality Jeremy Kyle.

His luck continued on Gold Cup day when he shared a photo on social media showing a friend holding a large stack of cash after landing a huge £64,000 bet.

Littler and his friend Jake Eilbeck both enjoyed success with placepot selections, something the darts star revealed in a post on his Instagram story. The pair posed for a photo celebrating their winnings with big smiles.

The Warrington-born star was also accompanied by his girlfriend, Faith Millar, during the racing festival. The couple attended three of the four days, with Littler only missing Thursday because he had to compete in the Premier League Darts night in Nottingham.

On that evening, Littler reached the semi-finals before suffering a narrow 6–5 defeat to Humphries. Humphries himself had earlier been spotted enjoying the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.

For the races, Littler looked stylish in a grey suit while Millar opted for a smart blazer as they enjoyed the prestigious event.

However, even their success was dwarfed by one punter at the festival who reportedly landed an enormous £485,000 return from a tiny 43p Lucky 63 bet.
