Pep Guardiola has included the son of one former Liverpool star in his Man City travelling squad for their pre-season tour of the United States
Liverpool are well-documented to possess a number of next-generation starlets following in the footsteps of famous footballing fathers in their current ranks, with a number having already made an impact on the Reds’ first team.
But it’s not just at Liverpool where they possess famous footballing sons or where said players in question are being granted an opportunity to step up into the first team this pre-season. Man City have named a 27-man travelling squad for their pre-season tour of the United States this summer, but while the likes of Erling Haaland, Ederson and Jack Grealish are included, it is mostly made up of youngsters.
