De Minaur, who was unable to play in the Tokyo Olympics due to COVID, shared on social media that he is excited about competing again. ‘To finally represent Australia in the Olympics is a dream come true,’ he declared. ‘Wearing the green and gold is a significant moment for me, and I am thrilled to gear up for Paris 2024.’

The Australian team will feature players like Alexei Popyrin, Ellen Perez, and others. The Olympic tennis event will take place at Roland Garros from July 27 to August 4. Reaching the top 10 in world rankings and making it to the French Open quarter-finals, De Minaur has demonstrated his potential on clay and looks forward to proving himself at the Olympics.
