The Scot has been playing some of his best tennis in recent years as he gears up for Wimbledon in the summer which is suspected to be his farewell tournament after several strong hints about his retirement. He took out Matteo Berrettini and Tomas Etcheverry on his way to setting up a last 32 meeting with Machac.

But after dropping a decisive point to drop the second set, Murray was caught on camera snapping at the umpire. As he went to take a seat to rest before the third set, he’s heard shouting: “Hold grudges! Awful decision!” before the umpire appears to ask him what he’s talking about. And a furious Murray roars: “What are YOU talking about? It’s quite obvious when people are standing up between every single serve!”
