Currently sitting ninth in the Race to the ATP Finals, Alex de Minaur is steering clear of any thoughts on the matter. The Australian progressed to the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 in Vienna after Flavio Cobolli retired early in the second set, but he insists he is taking it day by day, with his physical condition being his primary concern.
“I am doing everything possible to focus on myself. There are no great expectations; I don’t know how my body will react. I’m taking it day by day. If I keep spending time on the court, then that’s a positive. There are many other players out there also winning their matches,” he stated.
