On her route to the title, Boulter saw off Tamara Korpatsch before powering through to the final, sealing her first tournament victory since claiming the 2025 WTA 125 Trophée Clarins in Paris. The win marks another milestone in what has been a steadily growing WTA career for the 28-year-old.

Boulter’s success also drew a light-hearted response from her fiancé, Australian star Alex de Minaur. The ATP world number eight was quick to celebrate the moment on social media, adding a touch of humour to the occasion.

After her victory in Ostrava, Boulter shared a photo on Instagram posing proudly with the trophy. Alongside the image, she wrote: “Make that title numero four.”

De Minaur replied in playful fashion, commenting: “Some more ornaments for the house.”

The joke reflected just how far Boulter has come, with this latest success adding to an already impressive collection of silverware on the WTA Tour.

Her first breakthrough title arrived at the 2023 Nottingham Open, where she defeated fellow Brit Jodie Burrage in the final. In March 2024, Boulter stepped up another level by claiming the biggest title of her career at the San Diego Open, a WTA 500 event.

Just three months later, she returned to Nottingham and successfully defended her title, overcoming former world number one Karolina Pliskova in the final. Later that season, Boulter reached another WTA final in Hong Kong but suffered her first defeat at that stage, losing out to Diana Shnaider.

Fans were quick to celebrate Boulter’s latest triumph, flooding social media with messages of praise and encouragement.

One supporter wrote on X: “And you absolutely belted your way to it. Can’t wait to see what the rest of this year brings for you. Atta girl.”

Another set an ambitious target for the Brit, saying: “Well done, pleasure to watch. Now keep up that consistency and positivity and you’ll get top 20 by this time next year.”

A third fan added: “Well played Katie! You looked annoyed early in the second set, then just went up another level. Great power and precision.”

With another title secured and confidence clearly building, Boulter’s Ostrava success could prove a springboard for a strong push up the rankings in the months ahead.
