Alexander Zverev beats Jannik Sinner 2024 record

Zverev continues his stellar 2024 season, surpassing Jannik Sinner’s match-win tally after his latest victory.

With Sinner sidelined due to illness, Zverev seized the chance to overtake him, now leading the season with 66 wins to Sinner’s 65.

As the two top seeds, both players are expected to face off at the ATP Finals in Turin, where they could determine who holds the ultimate season advantage.

Their form has captivated fans throughout the year, with each pushing the other to new heights.

While Sinner has undoubtedly had the better year with two Grand Slam title – something Alcaraz also achieved – Zverev’s record-breaking 66th win adds another layer of intensity to their upcoming showdown.

The German currently leads his head-to-head rivalry with Sinner 4-2, although the Italian did win their most recent battle in Cincinnati.

Did Alexander Zverev get lucky in Paris?

Zverev had some good fortune on his path to the Paris Masters title. With Sinner withdrawing and top-seeded Alcaraz exiting early, Zverev avoided facing any top 10 opponents.

This lighter draw certainly worked in his favor, making his route to the trophy less challenging on paper.

However, Zverev played impressive tennis throughout the tournament, dominating each opponent he encountered.

Ultimately, while luck played a role, he still had to capitalize on the opportunity and proved he could deliver when it mattered – something he hasn’t been able to do historically.
