Anna Kalinskaya looks ahead to 2025 after overcoming challenges and achieving career milestones in 2024

Anna Kalinskaya’s 2024 season was marked by significant achievements and challenges, culminating in a career-high singles ranking of world No. 14.

At the Australian Open, she reached her first Grand Slam quarterfinal, defeating notable players such as Sloane Stephens and Jasmine Paolini before falling to eventual runner-up Zheng Qinwen in a three-set match.

Her impressive performance continued at the Dubai Tennis Championships, where, as a qualifier, she achieved victories over top players including Jeļena Ostapenko, Coco Gauff, and world No. 1 Iga Świątek, advancing to her first WTA 1000 final.

Despite these successes, Kalinskaya faced physical challenges, notably withdrawing from the Miami Open due to injury.

Looking ahead to 2025, Kalinskaya has expressed a strong focus on maintaining her physical health, believing it will pave the way for greater achievements.

She plans to commence her season at the Brisbane International, followed by the Australian Open, aiming to build upon her previous successes.

Off the court, Kalinskaya’s relationship with fellow tennis professional Jannik Sinner has garnered attention. The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2024 and have been seen supporting each other during matches.
