Darts sensation Beau Greaves produced a moment of history with a stunning nine-dart finish against Mensur Suljovic at Players Championship 6 in Leicester.
After edging past Chris Landman in the opening round with a classy 116 checkout, the 22-year-old returned to the oche for her second match and delivered something even more special.
Greaves, who has dominated the Women’s Series in recent seasons, secured a Tour Card at the end of 2025 to compete regularly on the PDC circuit. In round two, she faced major winner Suljovic in a race to six legs — and seized her moment.
With the contest locked at 1-1, Greaves opened the leg with back-to-back 180s to spark excitement around the arena. Keeping her composure, she followed it up with a clinical 141 finish — T20, T19, D12 — to complete a perfect nine-darter.
The achievement made her the first woman ever to hit a nine-dart finish on the PDC ProTour.
Despite the magnitude of the moment, Greaves’ reaction was understated. She allowed herself a smile and a small fist pump before sharing a handshake with an admiring Suljovic, who acknowledged the feat.
Commentators were quick to praise the display.
“Beau Greaves — perfection. Absolutely incredible,” one said. “Suljovic takes a bow, but it’s Beau Greaves stealing the show.”
The nine-darter adds to an already groundbreaking year for Greaves. Earlier this month at Players Championship 1, she became one of the first women — alongside Lisa Ashton — to reach the last 16 of a ProTour event.
A three-time WDF World Darts Championship winner, Greaves will now look to build on her success and continue pushing towards becoming the first woman to capture a major PDC title in 2026.
