Beau Greaves has fired back at recent comments from Gerwyn Price, insisting she doesn’t need anyone questioning her readiness for a potential Premier League Darts spot.

The teenage sensation, who continues to dominate the women’s circuit and push boundaries across the sport, responded with confidence after Price publicly laughed off suggestions that she could be included in the Premier League line-up.

‘I back myself, always’

While Price made it clear he believes his own credentials should never be questioned for selection, Greaves made an equally bold statement — but without aiming any negativity at the Welsh world champion.

Instead, the 20-year-old doubled down on her self-belief and hunger to challenge the very best.

“I see people saying I’m not ready or asking if I’ve done enough yet, but I don’t need people telling me when I am or I’m not ready,” said Greaves.
“I back myself, always. My darts will do the talking.”

Let the results speak

Greaves has assembled one of the strongest resumes in the women’s game, capturing multiple major titles and continuing to break new ground with performances that have forced the wider darting world to take notice.

And while Premier League inclusion remains a hot topic rather than confirmed reality, Greaves is adamant she isn’t fazed by the outside noise — supportive or sceptical.

“I don’t think about what people say on the outside,” she added.
“If the chance comes, I’ll grab it. If it doesn’t, I’ll keep winning and making it impossible to ignore.”

Respect, but resolve

Greaves avoided firing personal shots at Price, making it clear she respects the major champion — but was not prepared to quietly absorb any suggestion that she lacks big-stage readiness.

“Gezzy has done amazing things for the sport, massive respect,” she said.
“But I don’t need approval from anyone to know what I’m capable of.”

A rising voice impossible to ignore

Whether the Premier League call arrives in 2025 or beyond, one thing is certain — Beau Greaves is no longer just knocking on the door.

She’s demanding it gets opened.

“I don’t wait for permission,” she said.
“I’m building my own case, one match at a time.”
