Holger Rune has attributed his recent struggles in Buenos Aires to lingering flu symptoms that had already affected him during the Rotterdam Open. The Danish star revealed that his recovery took longer than expected, impacting his performance in Argentina.
Nearly a week after his early exit in Buenos Aires, Rune took to social media to share that he was finally feeling back to normal, just in time for the ATP 500 event in Acapulco.
“First day since Rotterdam I wake up and my body feels almost normal again. Happy I took the time to rest and recover. Now practice before @AbiertoTelcel ❤️,” Rune posted on X (formerly Twitter).
With his health restored, Rune is eager to return to full strength and compete at his best in Acapulco.
