British tennis player Emma Raducanu gets attention with jewelry worth nearly 50 euros at the Australian Open
It was more than just her tennis skills that wowed spectators when she made her Australian Open debut.
British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu, 19, entered the second round grabbing attention with more than £40,000 (€48) worth of Tiffany jewelry.
Miss Raducanu, who signed an estimated two million pounds (2.4 million euros) deal with the luxury jewelery brand in September, won a match 6-0, 2-6, 6-1 over American Sloane Stephens yesterday.
She dazzled at the Melbourne court with a £18,900 (€22,600) bracelet, a £4,975 (€5900) matching ring and £2,575 (three thousand euro) earrings.
She wore a link bracelet worth £3700 (€4400) and a large cross pendant, which costs around £9875 (€11,800).
The tennis star, who a year ago was still at school, could be worth six million pounds (7.1 million euros) according to experts, with her US Open victory bringing her around two million pounds (2.4 million euros) in earnings only in cash.
Miss Raducanu will play against Montenegrin Danka Kovinic on Thursday. /Telegraph/
