Caroline Wozniacki’s dad has one solid piece of advice for Iga Swiatek & team after Miami Open shocker
Caroline Wozniacki’s Father Offers Iga Swiatek Key Advice After Miami Open Exit
Iga Swiatek’s Miami Open 2025 campaign came to an unexpected halt, sparking discussions about her current form and mental state. Piotr Wozniacki, father of former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki, weighed in with a crucial piece of advice for Swiatek and her team, emphasizing the need for a mental reset rather than tactical or technical changes.
“At Iga’s beautiful house, there is a constant lack of air. So you simply have to air it out. I’m not saying you need to fire staff or make drastic changes, but she needs space.”
Piotr Wozniacki believes that Swiatek’s struggles stem more from mental fatigue than from technical or physical shortcomings.
“It’s not about whether Iga has a great forehand or backhand, whether she’s strong enough, or if a new coach will teach her groundbreaking tactics. None of that will matter if she’s simply overworked, and in my opinion, she is overworked by the atmosphere around her.”
Does Swiatek Need a Break?
Wozniacki’s comments highlight a growing concern—is Swiatek pushing herself too hard? After a grueling schedule over the past two seasons, many believe the World No. 1 needs to step back and reset before burning out.
