Coco Gauff Launches Own Management Firm to Take Greater Control of Her Career
Coco Gauff, the 2023 U.S. Open singles champion and 2024 French Open doubles champion, has taken a significant step in her career by launching her own management firm, Coco Gauff Enterprises. The 19-year-old tennis star, currently ranked No. 3 in the WTA singles, announced on April 2, 2025, that she is parting ways with her longtime agency, Team8, to focus on building a platform that reflects her diverse passions, including business and philanthropy, in addition to tennis.
“I’m excited to build something that allows me to take greater ownership of my career while also creating opportunities beyond myself as I continue to grow as an athlete, entrepreneur, and changemaker,” Gauff shared on social media. The move will allow her to have more control over her professional journey while staying dedicated to her tennis career, which remains her main focus.
Gauff described Coco Gauff Enterprises as a venture that aligns with her passion for making a positive impact not only in the world of tennis but in business and philanthropy as well. She expressed her belief that her purpose extends far beyond the tennis court: “From the moment I first picked up a tennis racket, I’ve always believed my purpose extended far beyond the court,” she said.
To help launch and manage the new company, Gauff has partnered with WME Sports, the agency that has represented tennis legends such as Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic.
As one of the highest-earning female athletes of 2024, Gauff continues to make strides on and off the court, with this move marking another exciting chapter in her already impressive career.
