Novak Djokovic is making final preparations for his highly anticipated return to Indian Wells, once again joined by Andy Murray on the practice courts. The two former rivals were spotted training together, continuing their collaboration from the Australian Open earlier this year.

Djokovic first announced his partnership with Murray late last year, though the Brit hasn’t been a constant presence in his camp. The Serbian played in Brisbane without a coach and recently worked with Fernando Verdasco on a temporary basis in Qatar. So far, Murray has only teamed up with the 24-time Grand Slam champion at the Australian Open.

Now, their partnership is back in action at Tennis Paradise as Djokovic, a five-time Indian Wells champion, gears up for his return. Seeded fifth, he awaits the winner of a first-round clash between Nick Kyrgios and lucky loser Botic Van de Zandschulp.

During his practice session, Djokovic not only trained with Murray but also hit with Norwegian star Casper Ruud. Physically, the Serbian appears to be in good shape despite a recent thigh injury. He was forced to retire in the Australian Open semifinals but made a quick return to competition at the Qatar Open just weeks later.
