Emma Raducanu Praises Fitness Coach Yutaka Nakamura After Miami Open Victory
Emma Raducanu has expressed her satisfaction with the progress she’s made under fitness coach Yutaka Nakamura following her latest win at the Miami Open 2025.
Speaking about her improved physical condition, Raducanu emphasized the importance of staying injury-free:
“Yeah, I think it’s little by little. The main thing is that I haven’t had any major injuries, which has been my biggest struggle in the past few years. Touchwood, my body is okay right now.”
She also highlighted improvements in her movement on the court:
“I’m getting to a lot more balls in the corners. By constantly practicing and challenging myself, I’ve developed confidence and better hand skills to make something happen when I get there.”
Raducanu Aims to Become ‘One of the Best Athletes’
Raducanu believes that working with Nakamura could help unlock her full athletic potential:
“I think he is going to help me really explore how far I can go, athletically. I feel like I haven’t even come close to fulfilling my potential in that area. I think I can become one of the best athletes in tennis, and I’m excited to see how much I can achieve.”
