Emma Raducanu Makes Unexpected Team Change Ahead of the 2026 Season
Emma Raducanu has reportedly made another adjustment to her support team as she prepares for the 2026 campaign, marking yet another shift in her ongoing search for the perfect coaching and performance setup.
The former US Open champion has long been scrutinised for her frequent coaching changes, but Raducanu has previously pushed back against the narrative that she is overly quick to cycle through coaches.
Speaking to The Guardian, she explained that the public perception is often exaggerated.
“When you see things like, ‘Oh, Emma on her ninth coach,’ I’m like: ‘Guys, come on.’ Certain ones don’t count,”
Raducanu said.
“If you’ve had a trial, you don’t have to carry on after the trial. A few have been trials, a few have been other situations. I just try to take the high road — and do what the royal family would do.”
Raducanu’s latest move underscores her continued commitment to refining her team and finding the right formula as she works toward a full, injury-free season in 2026.
