Emma Raducanu recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse into her time off the court during the Italian Open, posting a series of photos from her stay in Rome. While Raducanu is enjoying the cultural richness of Rome, she also remains focused on her performance at the Italian Open. In a recent interview following her round of 64 victory, she admitted she’s still adjusting to clay.

“I still don’t feel really comfortable [on clay],” Raducanu told Sky Sports. “I guess in a way it helps that I have to be super focused on every single point, get my feet right, and try not to fall over. I think I’m slowly finding my feet.”

The young Brit is aiming to build momentum on the clay circuit as she continues to develop her game and confidence ahead of the summer swing.
