The Saudi Arabia Darts Masters will be staged on January 19 and 20, with the inaugural edition of the tournament taking place at the Global Theater in Riyadh.

The field is led by Luke Littler, who arrives in Saudi Arabia as the headline act after successfully defending his World Championship title earlier this month. The teenage sensation starts the event as the clear favourite at this latest World Series stop.

Also competing is world number two Luke Humphries, who will be keen to respond after a disappointing World Championship campaign. The tournament features the entire top three in the world rankings, with World Championship finalist Gian van Veen also in contention for the title.

They are joined by a strong supporting cast that includes Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting, Danny Noppert, Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall. In the opening round, the PDC stars will face Asian representatives such as Alexis Toylo, Paolo Nebrida and the legendary Paul Lim.

For players who narrowly missed out on Premier League selection, the World Series once again provides a valuable platform to impress on the international stage. Aspinall and Noppert, in particular, will be eager to make a statement in Riyadh. Among the notable absentees are Josh Rock and Jonny Clayton, while Chris Dobey, a regular presence throughout 2025, and former world champion Rob Cross are also missing from the lineup.

As usual, the tournament will be broadcast in the UK on ITV, with live coverage running from 4pm to 9pm on both days. Elsewhere, the event will be shown on Viaplay in the Netherlands and DAZN in Germany. In most other territories, including likely coverage in the USA and Australia, the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters will be available live via PDCTV through its subscription service. In Australia, coverage may also be provided by Foxtel or Kayo Sports, but PDCTV remains the guaranteed option if local broadcasts are not confirmed.
