Luke Littler is on a mission. After a breakout 2024 season, the teenage darts sensation is once again dominating the Premier League Darts circuit. With four nightly wins under his belt and 26 points on the leaderboard, the 17-year-old leads the standings by a commanding six-point margin over Luke Humphries.

Littler has already racked up victories in Glasgow, Brighton, Cardiff, and Newcastle. In Cardiff, he even delivered a unique nine-dart finish ending on double 15—the first of its kind televised. He’s also surpassed 100 maximum 180s in a single Premier League season, a new milestone.

Now, Littler has his sights set on another record. If he wins again Thursday night in Manchester, he’ll become the first player to secure five nightly wins in a single Premier League season—surpassing his own co-held record of four from last year. With six regular nights and the Finals still ahead, it’s not a question of if, but when.

“I’m obviously looking to try and go back-to-back in Manchester, but for myself, try and get that fifth nightly win, break the record,” Littler told Sky Sports.
“I know there’s loads of weeks to go, but I want to try and get it done as quick as possible. I just want to keep that six-point gap—or even extend it.”

Historically, 26 points has been enough to qualify for Finals Night, but Littler isn’t interested in settling for “enough.”

“I think 26 has got you into Finals Night in past years,” he added. “But I want the number one spot. I want to break the record for nightly wins. That’s what’s keeping me motivated—to stay on top.”

He continued:

“It’s a personal milestone, but it would also be part of Premier League history. The 180s have been a great start to the year, and my power scoring’s been strong.”

Standing in Littler’s way on Thursday is Gerwyn Price—no easy task. The Welshman has handed Littler six consecutive defeats, including both of their meetings this Premier League season. Despite the tough matchup, Littler remains composed.

“I wouldn’t say I’m motivated to beat him specifically,” Littler said. “Of course I want to win, but I won’t be on stage telling myself ‘you need to win this.’ I’ll go in with the same mindset—win the first game, get two points.”

“He’s got the record against me, and he knows how to beat me. But hopefully, I can finally get that win over him.”

All eyes will be on Manchester this Thursday as Luke Littler continues his pursuit of darts greatness.
