“I went back to Florida, slept in my own bed, and just took the time to unwind,” Sabalenka said. “After such a long and exhausting season, the first thing I needed was proper rest. I didn’t want to think about tennis for a while, and I knew I needed this time for myself.”

Sabalenka’s return to Florida, where she resides when not on tour, provided her the perfect environment to decompress. She emphasized how sleeping in her own bed and being in familiar surroundings helped her feel grounded after months of traveling and competing. “There’s something special about being at home, surrounded by comfort, and doing normal things like cooking or going for walks,” she shared.
