Novak Djokovic has long been a subject of speculation regarding his use of advanced recovery technologies, particularly the CVAC pod—a hyperbaric-like chamber designed to aid recovery and performance. However, the Serbian legend has repeatedly dismissed claims that it played any role in his dominance on the court.

Djokovic Addresses CVAC Pod Rumors

During an earlier interview, Djokovic clarified his stance on the technology, stating:

“Well, all I can say is that I used it a couple of times last year, and I haven’t used it since. It’s an interesting technology, but I don’t know its exact effects. It has nothing to do with my success over the last ten months.”

The 24-time Grand Slam champion grew increasingly frustrated with ongoing questions about the pod, emphasizing that it was not a secret weapon fueling his achievements.

“Look, I said yesterday, and I’ll repeat it for the last time because I don’t want to talk about it anymore. I used it very few times last year just to test it out, and since then, I haven’t used it at all. So, I can’t really speak to its effects. It doesn’t influence my success in any way.”

“It Would Be Great If That Machine Had Wings”

Djokovic also poked fun at the speculation, joking about the device’s location:

“Well, it would be great if that machine had wings so it could fly wherever I’m playing. But it’s in New Jersey, in one of the sports complexes there.”

The world No. 1 further explained that he has no intention of altering his recovery routines, which already include a dedicated team of therapists and physiotherapists.

“No, I haven’t used it this year because I don’t plan on changing my routines. My current team and recovery methods have worked well for me, so I have no reason to try other things.”

Djokovic’s comments should put an end to the speculation, but given his stature in the sport, the debate surrounding his training methods may continue.
