Jack Grealish argues ex-Man Utd ace is one of trickiest opponents he played against, he caused all kinds of problems
Manchester City player Jack Grealish admitted that one former Manchester United star would be one of his toughest opponents after putting him on his three-man list.
Jack Grealish has been at Manchester United’s rivals since 2021 after Manchester City signed him from Aston Villa for a whopping £100m transfer fee.
The 29-year-old former Aston Villa star has enjoyed success under Pep Guardiola, including being part of the City team that won a continental treble in 2023.
During his time at the Etihad, Grealish has lifted three Premier League titles, a Champions League and an FA Cup with City.
Grealish has made 135 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s men and he has scored 14 times and registered 20 assists for City since arriving at the Etihad.

Grealish rates former Man Utd star
Speaking on Sky Sports, Jack Grealish took part in a series of Q&A segments where he had to work out what 100 fans would choose as his top three picks.
The Manchester City star was asked to name the top three full-backs he has faced in his career, with Grealish correctly identifying Kyle Walker as the top pick.
However, Grealish then picked out former Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who only made fourth place on the rankings from the 100 fans.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka,” Grealish said.
“Yeah, [I’d have him in my top three]. I think he’s really good at one-vs-one defending. Sliding tackles… he loves it.”
Joining City full-back Kyle Walker in the three-man list from the fans were Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal and Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Wan-Bissaka moves on from Man Utd
Aaron Wan-Bissaka made his exit from United in the summer and completed a stunning £15m move to Premier League side West Ham in August.
The 26-year-old former United right-back had fallen down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag, who preferred Diogo Dalot as his first-choice right-back.
Noussair Mazraoui’s arrival at Old Trafford from Bayern Munich in August all but certain sealed Wan-Bissaka’s move away from United at the time.
Wan-Bissaka, who inked a whopping seven-year deal with West Ham, has made eight appearances across all competition for the Hammers this season.
