Jordan Pickford gave Everton fans a reason to smile on Thursday night as he put in another stellar display in-between the sticks, only this time it was for England.

It could have quite easily been at least 3-2, if not 3-3 if Jordan Pickford hadn’t have pulled of a number of impressive stops for England on the night.

The national media liked what they saw from Pickford as the lowest score given to the Everton goalkeeper was 7.5 out of 10 for his display.

Football fans even claimed that Pickford is the greatest England goalkeeper after his performance against Greece, which may be getting carried away a little bit.

One Premier League star certainly thought he looked the part as he took to Instagram to reply to Jordan Pickford’s post with one word of praise after the 3-0 win.

Jack Grealish says Jordan Pickford was ‘unreal’ for England against Greece

Jack Grealish was named in the England squad but withdrew due to not being quite ready having not long returned after an injury, after fury from Pep Guardiola.

The Manchester City star, who signed for £100 million, just hasn’t been able to reach the same heights he did at Aston Villa, but he’s still doing enough to be a regular for the Three Lions.

Despite not being in the squad, Grealish still looked to support his teammates as he dropped a comment on Jordan Pickford’s Instagram post after the game.

Pickford posted five images of him during the win for England, and he wrote a caption that stated,

‘A good night’s work in Athens 🔝 See you Sunday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿’

Grealish then replied with.

‘Unreal👏🙌❤️’

Jordan Pickford’s stellar performance against West Ham United

Jordan Pickford is starting to find form at the perfect time for Everton and Sean Dyche, with the Englishman’s job currently under pressure at Goodison Park.

The save Pickford pulled off in the dying embers against West Ham was simply outstanding, and it led to plenty of praise from all corners after the game too.

Julen Lopetegui mentioned Pickford as one of Everton’s best players for his display, and we have to agree, as he made six saves and prevented 1.54 goals in the process.

If Everton are to avoid slipping into the relegation zone then Pickford needs to be at the top of his game, as the defence hasn’t always done its job so far this season.
