Meanwhile, Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard, and Thomas Partey have all remained in North London due to fitness concerns. Fabrizio Romano has shared an injury update on the three stricken Arsenal players.

Bukayo Saka will be enjoying his time with the England squad. The 23-year-old winger is a key figure for the Three Lions, with 42 caps to his name already.

In this interview, the attacker was asked which England player he believes would make the worst babysitter.

Grealish replied: “The worst, I’m going to go Saka… I just reckon he would be sloppy. You know, falling asleep and that.”

Saka’s importance to Arsenal and England

It is vitally important from an Arsenal perspective, and Arteta needs the Hale End academy graduate to remain fit and firing on all cylinders.

Saka has been in sensational form so far this season, and has emerged as a real leader at the Emirates Stadium too, often donning the captain’s armband in Odegaard’s absence.

It is easy to forget that he only turned 23 recently, and is still in the early stages of his career, given that he already has over 200 first team appearances for Arsenal to his name.

Saka has been nicknamed ‘Mr Arsenal’, a moniker that also belonged to iconic former captain Tony Adams. Saka is now well on his way to becoming a club legend at Arsenal himself, just like Adams.
