Man City star Jack Grealish congratulated Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane for his record-breaking four-goal haul in their 9-2 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
Kane, 31, scored three penalties and a tap-in against the Croatian side to make him the most prolific Englishman in Champions League or European Cup history.
The England captain now has an impressive 33 goals in 45 games, surpassing Wayne Rooney’s old record of 30 goals in 40 games.
This comes just days after smashing Erling Haaland’s record for reaching 50 Bundesliga goal involvements in 42 games – Kane did it in 35 after a hattrick against Holsten Kiel on Saturday (September 14).

Grealish, 29, played the full 90 minutes in Man City’s 0-0 Champions League opener against Italian giants Inter Milan, ending the game with an 88 per cent pass accuracy and four chances created.
The Premier League champions are currently in 12th place in the new Champions League format, with Bayern sitting at the summit following their impressive win.
