Jack Grealish Urged to Leave Manchester City to Revive World Cup Hopes

Jack Grealish has been advised to walk away from Manchester City and Pep Guardiola if he wants to keep his World Cup dream alive.

The 29-year-old winger has endured a frustrating season, struggling to secure a starting spot in Guardiola’s squad. His lack of game time comes after he was left out of England’s squad for last summer’s Euros in Germany, raising further concerns about his international future.

Grealish has started just six Premier League games this season and has barely featured since the turn of the year, playing little more than 30 minutes in league action in 2024. Despite City facing challenges of their own, Grealish appears to be completely out of Guardiola’s plans.

Time for a Fresh Start?

Former England captain John Terry recently suggested that if Grealish wants to regain his place in the national team, a move away from City might be the best option.

“To do that, and I’m sure Thomas Tuchel would have told him, he probably has to go somewhere else and play regular first-team football.”

With limited minutes at City and the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, could this summer be the time for Grealish to make a bold decision and seek a fresh challenge elsewhere? Let us know your thoughts!
