Former Liverpool and Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann believes Manchester City’s Jack Grealish should move to Bayern to rediscover his “free spirit” and fulfill his “unlimited potential.”

What’s Happening?
Hamann, speaking to Instant Casino, praised Grealish’s natural talent but suggested the 29-year-old needs more freedom on the pitch to thrive — something he believes Bayern Munich could offer. Grealish has found himself on the fringes at City this season, starting just seven Premier League games under Pep Guardiola.

The Bigger Picture
Hamann believes Grealish would flourish playing as a central No. 10, a role currently occupied by Jamal Musiala at Bayern. Despite the competition, Hamann argued that Grealish is good enough to build a team around and would bring much-needed flair to the Bundesliga. Financial considerations, however, could complicate any potential transfer.

What Hamann Said
“I’d love to see Jack Grealish at Bayern Munich,” Hamann said. “He has unlimited potential. He’s had only one standout season in four years at City. Grealish is a free spirit — on and off the pitch — and needs to be allowed that freedom.
At Bayern, the question would be where he plays. I think he’s best just behind the striker, even though he’s often played out wide. He was outstanding for England there against Ireland. Bayern already have Musiala, but Grealish is the kind of player you fit into his best position because he’s that good. If they can afford him, he would definitely light up the Bundesliga.”

What’s Next for Grealish?
With limited playing time this season, a move away from Manchester City looks increasingly likely. A switch to the Bundesliga could give Grealish a fresh start and the chance to reignite his career.
