Jannik Sinner has confirmed that he will part ways with coach Darren Cahill at the end of the 2025 season. The renowned Australian coach will finish out the year before stepping back from the full-time tennis circuit.

Cahill joined Sinner’s team in July 2022, and together, they have enjoyed a successful partnership, with Sinner claiming both the Australian Open and US Open titles last year. They are aiming to add more trophies to Sinner’s collection this season. After defeating Tristan Schoolkate in the second round of the Australian Open, the 23-year-old revealed the decision to split with Cahill at the conclusion of the year.

The announcement comes two months after Cahill had publicly stated that he would not take on any other full-time coaching commitments once his work with Sinner ends.

When asked about the length of his partnership with the Italian, Cahill explained to the West Australian: “Whatever he wants. There’s always a right time for a new voice, new inspiration, and a fresh perspective… but everything is going really well with us at the moment.”
