Jannik Sinner Returns to Training Ahead of Italian Open Comeback

Jannik Sinner has officially resumed training just days before his expected return to competition, sharing a short message with fans on social media.

“Back on court, thanks @Jack Draper,” the Italian posted, expressing gratitude to his fellow player for the training session.

Sinner, who is set to make his comeback at the 2025 Italian Open as the top seed, has been preparing intensely during his time away from the tour. His physical and technical training has reportedly been focused on gearing up for the challenges of Roland Garros.

Italian Davis Cup captain Filippo Volandri shared insight into Sinner’s mindset and preparation.

“Sinner is part of a top-level team, and I’m sure they’ve worked on key technical areas for his return. His physical training has been tailored for the grueling best-of-five format at Roland Garros,” said Volandri.

“I had dinner last week with Vagnozzi [Sinner’s coach], and he told me Jannik is extremely motivated, calm, and fully focused on the upcoming tournaments.”

Fans will be eager to see Sinner back in action in Rome, where he aims to make a strong statement after a period of absence from the ATP tour.
