Anna Kalinskaya recently made a rare comment about her relationship with Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner, addressing whether his Grand Slam triumph has placed any pressure on her to achieve similar success. The tennis power couple, who confirmed their relationship in May last year, have largely kept their romance private. Sinner, known for guarding his personal life, briefly acknowledged their relationship at the French Open in 2024, but both have avoided offering many details.

When asked if Sinner’s victory in Melbourne added any pressure for her to also win a major championship, Kalinskaya responded confidently, “Absolutely no pressure, it doesn’t change anything for me.”

Sinner successfully defended his Australian Open title, defeating Alexander Zverev in straight sets (6-3, 7-6, 6-3) in a commanding performance. After his victory, Sinner expressed his gratitude, saying, “It means so much to me… and the support has been amazing from the start of the tournament.”

Despite his win, Sinner has since withdrawn from the Rotterdam Open to allow his body time to recover after a physically demanding stint in Australia. He had been due to defend his title at the ABN AMRO Open, but decided to skip the event for his health.

In a statement, Sinner shared: “My body needs time to rest after the long run in Australia.” Rotterdam’s tournament director, Richard Krajicek, expressed his disappointment, noting that it was a “great shame” for Sinner to miss the event but understood the toll the Australian Open took on him.
