Jennifer Brady might be sidelined from tennis due to her knee injury, but she’s still stealing the spotlight—especially among her tight-knit girl gang featuring fellow WTA stars like Madison Keys and World No. 3 Jessica Pegula.

Flashback to last year in Charleston: Brady was hanging out with her crew, which also included Desirae Krawczyk, when she cheekily captioned an Instagram photo, “I can’t really see another squad tryna cross us.” Now, history seems to be repeating itself as the girls reunited again this week in Charleston—and this time, Pegula had jokes ready.

On Saturday, Brady shared a carousel of fun moments on Instagram, captioned “dumparooski.” The post featured photos of her out and about with Pegula, Keys, and New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe, capturing laughs, food, and—of course—fashion.

One pit stop on their outing? A visit to the iconic Tecovas store, known for its stylish cowboy boots and Western wear. Brady was clearly vibing with the brand, trying on different pairs and striking poses for the camera. Though it’s unclear if she made a purchase, her boot game didn’t go unnoticed.

In the comments, Pegula chimed in with a playful dig: “The boots are so cute though no way you got them.” Talk about bestie banter at its finest.

But this isn’t Brady’s first time turning heads with her fashion choices. Last year, even while on crutches due to her knee injury, she showed up at the Credit One Charleston Open looking effortlessly cool in a half-sleeve sweater, denim shorts, and shades. Madison Keys couldn’t help but comment, “Love these fits!!” while Routliffe jokingly asked, “Who tf is dressing you?”

Though she remains off the court for now, Brady has embraced her time away from the WTA tour with grace. After a brief return in August 2023, she suffered a setback and withdrew from the China Open in October. In early 2024, she announced via Instagram that she’d be stepping back once again and returning to UCLA as a (under)graduate assistant coach for the women’s tennis team.

“While it hasn’t been easy dealing with injuries and taking time off at the peak of my tennis career,” she wrote, “I was grateful and happy to be back competing at the highest level again during the U.S. swing and end of last year.”

Though her timeline for returning to competitive play remains uncertain, fans are holding out hope for a strong comeback.
