World darts champion and Warrington Wolves fan Luke Littler is set to miss another potential Wembley appearance by his hometown rugby league club—even if they reach the Challenge Cup Final this year.
The 18-year-old darts sensation had hoped that Warrington’s schedule and his own might align this time around. However, it now looks unlikely. The Wolves will face Leigh Leopards in the semi-finals on May 11, and should they progress to the final on June 7, Littler will likely be overseas.
It has been confirmed that Littler will headline the Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters in Copenhagen, taking place from June 6-7—clashing with the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. Unless he exits the tournament early, a quick trip to London seems improbable.
Littler, who lives in Appleton and is a former Padgate Academy student, is the reigning World Series Finals champion. His 2025 calendar is packed, including confirmed appearances at upcoming World Series of Darts events in the U.S. and Poland.
