Logan Paul uses Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl rings in WWE Raw bout

WWE Raw came to Kansas City on Monday night, and the wrestlers got a taste of the city’s Super Bowl glory.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was sitting in the front row of the match at the T-Mobile Center, handed Logan Paul all three of his Super Bowl rings. Paul planned to hit Jey Uso with a three-ringed fist, but the blow instead landed on JD McDonagh.

This wasn’t the end of Mahomes’ cameo. Braun Strowman entered the ring to scar off Paul moments later before Strowman returned to the front row to confront Mahomes.

But fear not, Chiefs fans. Mahomes’ offensive linemen, center Creed Humphrey and guard Trey Smith, stood in front of Mahomes to defend their quarterback like they would on the field. There was no way the Chiefs would ever have allowed Mahomes to enter a WWE ring.

Mahomes can expect to see that type of blocking in 2024 as well as the Chiefs prepare to defend their two consecutive Super Bowls to make NFL history. The Chiefs added even more protection for Mahomes in the 2024 NFL Draft after taking BYU offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia in the second round and Penn State center Hunter Nourzad in the fifth.

Monday was a big day for Kansas City. Besides Mahomes’ inclusion in Raw, the Chiefs gave Travis Kelce a new contract that makes him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL. This comes a month after Kansas City extended head coach Andy Reid through the 2029 season. Both moves should put retirement speculation for both to bed … for now.
