LUKE LITTLER may be one of darts’ brightest stars, but even the world No1 can still have the occasional slip-up — like forgetting his girlfriend’s birthday.

The teenage sensation continued his remarkable rise on Sunday by winning the World Masters for the first time, adding yet another major trophy to his growing collection.

Littler, just 19, walked away from Milton Keynes with a £100,000 winner’s cheque and moved another step closer to completing the coveted Career Slam.

But despite his brilliance on the oche, The Nuke admitted he had overlooked an important date off it.

“It is Faith’s birthday,” Littler revealed. “I didn’t get her anything, but at least I got the trophy.

“We can go shopping tomorrow. It’s going to go.”

Littler sealed the title with a dramatic 6-5 victory over Luke Humphries at Stadium MK, claiming the Masters crown on his second attempt.

Reflecting on the occasion, he added: “There was no pressure on me today, but there was a little bit to try and get the win for her and my family.”

Including his latest five-figure payday, Littler has now earned close to £3 million over the past year alone — meaning girlfriend Faith Millar is unlikely to miss out on a present for long.

Millar has been a regular presence at Littler’s tournaments since the pair began dating in March 2025, frequently spotted supporting him from the crowd.

She was also in attendance last month when Littler successfully defended his World Darts Championship title, a triumph that earned him a staggering £1 million prize.

When asked whether he might need help picking out a gift, Littler smiled: “She can think of something.

“I can definitely treat her.”

Littler will now turn his attention to his next major challenge, with the 2026 Premier League season getting underway on February 5.

He is set to face Gian van Veen on the opening night as his incredible run continues.
